About the Body
The body is a wonderful, mysterious thing. Our bodies can
adapt, and change to different environments. Much like how our
bodies adapt to weight training. We keep increasing the amount
of weight we push or pull with our muscles and we tear and rip
the muscles apart. How do they cope, by building more muscle.
If our bodies are constantly undergoing stress, it's our
instinctive nature to adapt to this, and become stronger to
apply ourselves to heavier work loads.
The trick here is this. When we are weight training and body
building, our muscles are being stretched and torn. The
muscles can rebuild themselves, but it takes time, and a
proper diet. You could work out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
and eat complete garbage and you wouldn't notice anything.
However, throw in some 8 hour good night rests, and a proper
diet suited to your specific needs and viola, your on the
right track.
